Prof. Baojie He

Chongqing University, China

Dr. Baojie He is a Professor at the School of Architecture and Urban Planning, Chongqing University, a Bayu Scholar, a doctoral supervisor, the Head of the Research Center for Climate Resilience and Low-Carbon Cities, and a Researcher at the Institute for Sustainable Development and Peace Education, Hiroshima University, Japan. He was consecutively named a Highly Cited Researcher by Clarivate in both 2022 and 2023. Dr. He focuses on urban heat mitigation and adaptation under global and local climate change, zero-energy buildings, and passive residential design. He has published over 140 peer-reviewed papers in SCI and SSCI journals, with an H‑index of 44. He has served as a topic editor, lead guest editor, associate editor, editorial board member, conference chair, session chair, scientific committee member, and invited reviewer for various internationally renowned journals. He received the Sustainable Young Scientist Award in 2022, the Green Talent Award (Germany) in 2021, and the National Outstanding Self‑Financed Student Scholarship (China) in 2019. In addition, he has been consecutively listed among the world’s top 2% scientists from 2020 to 2023.

Prof. Ali Cheshmehzangi

The University of Queensland, Australia

Dr. Ali Cheshmehzangi is Professor and Head of the School of Architecture, Design and Planning at The University of Queensland, recognised as a Stanford top‑2% field leader since 2022 and among the top 25 global scholars in urban sustainability. He also serves as Editor‑in‑Chief of the Springer Nature Urban Sustainability Book Series. With over two decades of experience in sustainable and environmentally conscious design, he has held numerous senior leadership roles, including Vice‑President for International Engagement, Head of Architecture and Built Environment, and founding director of several research centres. He has published over 500 academic items and 40 books, many receiving national and international awards, and was honoured with a Vice‑Chancellor’s award in 2018 for his impact on higher education.

Assoc. Prof. Dong Zhou

Zhengzhou University of Technology, China

Dong Zhou, holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering and is an Associate Professor and Senior Engineer. He serves as an Adjunct Master's Supervisor at North China University of Technology and is recognized as a Key Non-Communist Personage. He is a Class-1 Constructor and was selected as one of the first Young Talents in the Youth Excellence Program of Zhengzhou University of Technology, where he is also honored as an Outstanding Teacher. Currently, he holds the position of Deputy Dean for Scientific Research at the School of Civil Engineering of Zhengzhou University of Technology. His primary research focuses on soil improvement and sponge city development. He has been granted three invention patents, authored one monograph, and approved one Provincial-Level Construction Method. Additionally, he has published over 10 academic papers and led or participated in more than 10 research projects.
